  1. 0:00Don't tool a die-cast magnet from a mockup. Settle four things first.
  2. 0:05First, name what must stay recognizable and review it at actual size. Ask the supplier to flag unclear lettering and crowded details before tooling.
  3. 0:16Second, name each layer: raised metal, recessed color, printed-only decoration. Gold, enamel and gloss differ; the sample shows the real finish.
  4. 0:27Third, the front carries the shape; the backing does the holding. A metal look or heavier body doesn't prove better hold. Test your actual door; some stainless won't attract magnets.
  5. 0:39Fourth, a proof confirms wording and layout. Texture, edges and rear contact need a physical sample. Freeze the approved version for reorders.
  6. 0:50Send artwork, size, quantity per design and finish concept.
  7. 0:55Request a quote that includes sample approval.
