  1. 0:00Custom tin fridge magnets: four things to settle before ordering.
  2. 0:05First, the format. Tinplate is tin-coated steel, not solid tin. The face carries print and relief; a separate magnetic back holds. Approve each separately.
  3. 0:16Second, split relief from print. Emboss what should read raised: an outline, emblem or border. Keep fine detail in print, and mark raised and flat areas separately.
  4. 0:27Third, size. Work in finished millimeters; borders and formed edges shrink the usable area. Keep text off the forming boundary, and test QR codes on the sample.
  5. 0:38Fourth, match the backing to the finished shape and weight, and test your actual surface: not every stainless door is magnetic. The sample approves relief, edges, color and assembly.
  6. 0:50Here's a look inside our factory, where tin magnets like these are made: a tinplate cover, paper insert and film go into the mold, we press them, then add a magnetic back.
  7. 1:03Send artwork, size, quantity per design and display surface.
