  1. 0:00Digital, offset or UV? Start with what the face is made of.
  2. 0:05Print and magnet are separate jobs: ink does nothing magnetic; the backing holds. Flexible sheets and rigid faces like die-cast metal follow different routes.
  3. 0:16Digital needs no plates, for short or personalized runs. Offset's plates and makeready pay off on long spot-color runs. UV inkjet cures on rigid faces.
  4. 0:28On die-cast metal, color is mostly enamel in recesses, with UV for photo detail. Plating tints process ink; a white base restores color but hides the sheen.
  5. 0:40Molds and plates are fixed costs; compare quotes at two or three quantities. Agree a measured color tolerance, and keep a retained sample for reorders.
  6. 0:50Behind the print, the backing is its own specification.
  7. 0:55Send artwork, size, quantity per design and color references.
