  1. 0:00Before ordering engraved wooden notebooks, settle four things.
  2. 0:05First, the cover is plywood: layered wood, not solid hardwood or printed grain. Pages are paper. Species, thickness and finish come with the quote and sample.
  3. 0:16Second, engraving is one burned tone. Use vector art where possible, check fine lines at real size, keep clear of edges and holes, and test your longest name.
  4. 0:28Third, specify the whole notebook: cover and page sizes separately, paper tested with your recipients' pen, and the binding and closure confirmed.
  5. 0:39Fourth, approve a physical sample. A screen proof can't show engraved shade. Check edges, holes, paper and packing, agree a flatness check, then freeze that version.
  6. 0:50Share your quantity, engraving artwork, preferred size and arrival date.
  7. 0:55Request a project-specific quote.
